On Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 2:30PM to 4P30PM at the Jess Lee United Methodist Church in Ridgefield the Michael Chekhov Center and Festival Committee are pleased to announce a benefit concert to raise funds for Ridgefield's first ever summer theater festival scheduled for August, 2009. The Concert program will feature the piece To The Memory of the Great Artist, by Thaikovsky, as well as works by Bach, Paganini, Rachmaninov and Bartok. The concert will be performed by award winning musicians: pianist, Tatyana Pikayzen, Cellist, Charlie Tyler, Violinist, Igor Pikayzen and pianist, Kuang He. Funds raised will support the theater festival scheduled for August 14 to 16, 2009. The benefit concert is open the public. Suggested admission is $20 donation per person.
