The historic Naugatuck Railroad will start its scenic round trips on Sunday starting at noon. The 20 mile trip takes about an hour and 15 minutes. Restored vintage 1920's era coaches travel along the banks of the Naugatuck River passing through the Mattatuck Forest and past the old brass mills in the Waterville section of Waterbury, and the Thomaston Dam. All trains depart the 19th century station which is off East Main Street. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for children 3-12 and free for children 1 and under.
