Oxford's Festival of Arts Cultural and Entertainment scheduled for the weekend of Friday through Sunday, May 15  to 17, 2015 will include the annual major juried Oxford Cultural Arts Commission Showcase Exhibit.  The Showcase Exhibit will be in the Town Hall meeting room with a Meet the Artist Gala opening Friday, May 15th from 6 to 9 PM.  There will be artist demonstrations, a silent auction, gallery tours and workshops for adults and kids on Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4PM .

Cummings co-created and co-wrote, along with Michael Patrick King, the CBS comedy 2 Broke Girls, which will return this Fall for a 3rd season. She also wrote, produced and starred in her autobiographical sitcom Whitney, which aired on NBC for 2 seasons between September 2011 – April 2013. Cummings appears regularly on E!'s, Chelsea Lately and has appeared on Comedy Central's Roasts. Her one-hour stand up special, Money Shot, premiered on Comedy Central in August 2010 and was nominated for an American Comedy Award later that year. Tickets: $70

A Benefit Art Show in New Hartford on May 16 and May 17, 2015 from noon to 5PM with all art sale proceeds going to the roof repair fund of Trinity Episcopal Church in Torrington.  Featuring pen and ink drawings, etchings and collage by Carol Taylor and photographs by Carlton Taylor.  The show will be held at Taylor's Art Barn.  Admission is free.
