Engvall, Jr. is a comedian and actor best known for his signature "Here's Your Sign" bit, and as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group. It's the humor in everyday situations that has made Engvall one of the top comedians today and among the busiest. He's hosted numerous television shows as well as several award shows. Bill also starred in and executive produced his own self-titled sitcom for TBS. He was one of the stars of the sketch comedy show.

The New England Carousel Museum will be hosting its annual Aunt Bub's Pasta Supper on Sunday, October 9th, 4:00-6:00 PM. This yearly event is a great way to gather friends, family, and colleagues and sit down together for good food, conversation, and memories. A meal of pasta, eggplant parmigiana, chicken, salad, bread, dessert and soft drinks will be served at 5:00 PM. Attendees are invited to bring their own wine to enjoy with this delicious meal. Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 10 and under, and children 5 or under are free. Pam Velez returns to the Conservation Center with an encore presentation of basic digital photography. Pam: "Tell them I am not a professional. Tell them I am only a hobbyist." Blah blah blah...Pam is as talented as any professional and a very gifted teacher. Her primary interests are portraiture and nature photography. You will learn the basics of manual exposure for digital photography, how to use your camera's settings to get more creative photos, tips on focusing, composition, and more. The class begins indoors and will end up outdoors for hands-on learning. Bring your camera, instruction booklet, and ideas. The class is limited to 10 participants. Rain or shine. Join a foraging family who hunt, photograph, identify, and eat the fungi in New England. The three foragers are from southeast CT and members of the CT Mycological Society and the North American Mycological Association. This program will dispel myths, teach how to safely identify mushrooms, and discuss mycophagy, the cooking and eating of wild mushrooms.
