All adult artists (18+) are invited to the Museum's drop-in acrylic landscape painting session. Led by Post University art instructor Tracy Collamore, students are invited to paint out-of-doors in the courtyard or the adjacent Green. Bring your own easel, paints, brushes, canvas, primed paper, paper towels and palette. Tracy will present demonstrations at the beginning of each session.

On Sunday evening August 21st Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust will be holding its first ever Farm to Table Dinner & Auction on the beautiful grounds of the Van Vleck Farm & Nature Sanctuary in Woodbury. Delicious food harvested from local farms will be prepared by coordinating Chef John Bourdeau. The event will feature an enchanting setting overlooking the Flanders farm, a scrumptious three course meal with signature summer cocktails, live music from the acoustic string band Switch Factory, and a chance to bid on several unique auction items and experiences. The event starts at 5PM. Tickets are $100 per person and seating is limited. All proceeds from the event will benefit the environmental education and land preservation programs of Flanders.

Hunt Library will be celebrated for 125 years of service to Falls Village and surrounding communities in the Berkshires with an open air potluck birthday picnic, "Party Like It's 1891!" This free family-friendly no-alcohol event will take place at Grassy Hill Farm, across the street from the library (at 63 Main Street) in Falls Village. All are welcome. In good 1891 tradition, everyone should bring a dish to share and blankets or chairs for picnicking. Parking is available at Kellogg School, the Congregational Church, and the library.
