2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, Ricky Byrd will bring his Clean Getaway All Stars to the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on September 19 at 8 pm. This concert will benefit The McCall Foundation of Torrington, a local drug and alcohol treatment center. Ricky will be performing with special guest – blues and soul legend Bonnie Bramlett (Delaney and Bonnie) along with a stellar band of Rock and Roll greats which include: Ricky Byrd (2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Roger Daltrey, Ian Hunter); Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel); Christine Ohlman (SNL2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Join us for a 5k or 10k trail run at Sessions Woods! Advance registration fees are $25 for the 5k run and $35 for the 10k run. Fees increase by $5 on the day of the race. Parking at Sessions Woods WMA is limited. Overflow Parking is available at Lewis S. Mills High School at 26 Lyon Road in Burlington. A shuttle will run continuously every 30 minutes from 7:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. to transport participants between Sessions Woods and the overflow lot. Please prepare accordingly, carpool if possible, and allow extra time before your scheduled event for registration and/or bib pick-up.

Join with IAIS staff and friends for our 5th Annual Clambake & Drumming Fundraiser!  Enjoy traditional indigenous foods of lobster, clams, corn, and potatoes while enjoying music & dance by Thunderbird American Indian Dancers! The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers, founded in 1963 by a group of ten Native American men and women, all New Yorkers descended from Mohawk, Hopi, Winnebago and San Blas tribes. All are “first generation,” meaning that their parents had been born on reservations. They founded the troupe to keep alive the traditions, songs, and dances they had learned from their parents, and added to their repertoire from other Native Americans living in New York and some who passed through. Bring your own chairs, blankets, beverages/libations, drums and rattles and  join in on the fun. $50 Adults; $40 IAIS Members;  $10 Children 12 & under (hot dogs, chips & lemonade)
